The garden, densely planted with perennials and grasses, draws on the latest garden design techniques with a subtle touch of topiary that evokes the historic character of this mid-1950s home.<br\/>The dynamic garden changes throughout the year, with the blooms of the perennials beginning in March and then gradually giving way, starting in mid-summer, to the blooms of grasses such as Miscanthus sinensis \u2018Haiku\u2019, Panicum virgatum \u2018Warrior\u2019, and Pennisetum alopecuroides.<br\/>The chosen colors are: white, yellow, pink, and magenta, with a few hints of blue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The purpose of this project, which envelops the home\u2019s avant-garde architecture like an embrace, is to reestablish a connection with the natural environment.
