Its name, \u201cTerrazzo dei Semplici,\u201d is in fact a reference to the very first collections of medicinal herbs. Rosemary, thyme, and oregano follow one another rhythmically along the entire perimeter, interspersed with perennial herbs and evergreen shrubs.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Mediterranean-style screen designed primarily to provide privacy from outside views, while leaving an opening that offers a view of the sea. A flower bed that extends along three sides, all of which are visible at the same time thanks to the veranda\u2019s large windows.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The blooms are mainly in shades of purple and blue, and the foliage creates interesting contrasts in texture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The concept behind the project was to create a Mediterranean terrace rich in medicinal plants without sacrificing the pleasure of colorful flowers.
