From the initial site visit to long-term care, every phase of the project is designed to create a cohesive, natural, and enduring outdoor space. The process begins by understanding the site and the client’s needs, continues with concept development, botanical and technical design, and culminates in construction and scheduled maintenance.
The site visit is the first step in getting to know the space: we observe the project area and analyze its environmental characteristics, orientation, proportions, constraints, and potential. It is a crucial phase for understanding not only the physical context but also how the client envisions using their garden or terrace.
Let’s analyze the area’s strengths and challenges, relating the site’s characteristics to the needs that emerged during the first meeting. At this stage, the design concept takes shape: an initial vision that defines the atmosphere, spatial layout, visual relationships, functions, and preliminary solutions for plants and materials.
Once the concept has been approved, the design solutions, plant selections, materials, technical elements, and construction components necessary for the project’s implementation are defined in greater detail.
