Garden design by Roberto Landello

Every project begins by listening to the place and the people who will experience it. Our approach guides the client through a clear and step-by-step process: from the initial analysis of the space to the definition of the concept, through botanical design, the selection of materials, and the coordination of the project’s execution.

OUR
PROCESS
IN 6 STEPS

01

Site Inspection

Phase 1: Site Inspection

Every project begins by listening to the site.

The site visit is the first step in getting to know the space: we observe the area to be worked on, analyze its environmental characteristics, orientation, proportions, constraints, and potential. It is a fundamental phase for understanding not only the physical context but also how the client envisions experiencing their garden or terrace.

During the site visit, we gather your requirements, preferences, and practical needs; we take the necessary measurements and perform the required surveys, documenting the space with a comprehensive photo shoot. This forms the foundation upon which we build a truly custom project.

02

PRELIMINARY PROJECT

Phase Two: Preliminary Design

After the site visit, the space is studied in depth.

We analyze the area’s strengths and challenges, correlating the site’s characteristics with the needs identified during the initial meeting. During this phase, the design concept takes shape: an initial vision that defines the atmosphere, spatial layout, visual relationships, functions, and preliminary choices regarding plants and materials.

The preliminary proposal is developed through a project floor plan and, when necessary, illustrative renderings that help convey the volumes, circulation patterns, proportions, and proposed solutions. This is the moment when the idea begins to take shape as a viable space.

03

FINAL DESIGN

Phase 3: Final Design

The final design develops and refines every aspect of the proposal.

Based on the approved concept, the design solutions, botanical choices, materials, technical elements, and construction components necessary for the project’s implementation are defined in greater detail.

The selection of plants is based on environmental characteristics, the desired aesthetic effect, seasonality, and maintenance requirements. Each element is chosen to contribute to the overall balance of the space, with the goal of creating a harmonious, functional garden or terrace that will evolve over time.

04

DETAILED DESIGN

Once the project has been defined, we move on to the technical phase.

The construction drawings translate the approved decisions into plans, drawings, and details necessary for the construction of the project. Technical documents, cross-sections, construction details, and operational guidelines are prepared to properly guide all phases of the project.

At this stage, the implementation procedures, the organization of the construction site, and the construction schedule are also defined, in order to ensure consistency between the approved design and its actual implementation.

05

ACTUALIZATION

Phase Four: Production

Construction is the stage at which the project takes shape.

The project is carried out through the coordination and management of the various operational phases, with a focus on the quality of execution, adherence to the schedule, and the proper implementation of the defined design solutions.

Throughout the project, supervision and monitoring are carried out to ensure that every decision—from the technical work to the planting of trees—aligns with the project’s overall vision and contributes to the creation of a cohesive, balanced, and sustainable space.

06

MAINTENANCE

Phase 5: Maintenance

A garden is a living organism: it grows, changes, and evolves over time.

To preserve the quality of the completed project, it is possible to establish a scheduled maintenance service, tailored to the characteristics of the space, the plant species present, and the client’s needs.

Maintenance plans can be customized for the short or long term and agreed upon upon completion of the project, with the goal of preserving the functionality, harmony, and value of the designed garden or terrace over time.

From the initial visit to the long-term maintenance, every stage of the process is designed to create an authentic, balanced outdoor space that is deeply connected to its surroundings.
