Mirage
This project was developed on two levels at the top of a building with sinuous, gentle lines. The cylindrical, curvilinear planters echo the building’s architectural contours and are positioned in various “corners” of the two terraces, creating green islands enriched by low-growing Mediterranean plants that are captivating not only for their flowers but also for their silvery and cerulean hues.
Plants with extremely high drought resistance were also used to evoke—as the title suggests—the rare green oases that can be found in a desert, symbolizing that “where there are plants, there is life.”
