Hanging Eden

A summer-oriented rooftop terrace, with its elevated pool that overlooks the sea in the distance. The layout of the terrace’s features inspired me to treat it as a true garden, selecting not only Mediterranean plants resistant to strong sea winds but also some species that tower above the rest, growing tall.

The perennials provide blooms throughout the entire summer season. In addition to the flowers, visitors can enjoy the flavor of certain fruits, such as figs and Japanese medlars.

The entire design was conceived to frame the usable spaces: areas dedicated to relaxation, such as the dining area, and those for recreation, such as the pool.
