Modern Renaissance

This terrace in the city center, with a wonderful view of the cathedral, inspired me to create a design that would connect with the past while avoiding stylistic anachronisms. The two “rooms”—one facing the monument, which is more intimate and retro, and the other more contemporary and understated—gently intersect.

Despite the abundance of various evergreen shrubs, the terrace is adorned with a variety of flowers from spring through summer. The highlight is the variety of leaf textures that emerge even in very small spaces.
