On the Romagna Riviera we bring the experience of many years of work on the northern Adriatic coast. We design gardens and terraces for seaside homes and holiday homes, from Milano Marittima to Rimini and Riccione, with plants that stand up to sand, wind and salt air, and a design that also takes into account the months when the house is closed.

The Romagna Riviera has a lot in common with the coast we come from: sandy beaches, pine woods, poor, free-draining soils, salty air, long and busy summers, and homes lived in mostly during the warm season.
That is why we apply the same approach we use in Lignano: hardy coastal and Mediterranean plants, planting arranged in bands to protect the more delicate areas, shade for the summer and gardens that need little water. Where needed, we plan automatic irrigation and a maintenance schedule.
We follow projects on the Riviera by traveling from our studios: site visit, design, our presence on site at the key stages and scheduled maintenance.

The studio
Roberto Landello is a garden designer with studios in Lignano Sabbiadoro and Monza. We take on garden and terrace projects on the Romagna Riviera too, organizing the work in stages: site visit, design, our presence on site at the key moments and a long-term maintenance plan.
Our work starts with plants. Roberto grew up in his family’s nursery in Lignano Sabbiadoro and trained at the Scuola Agraria del Parco di Monza; Luca, our technical lead, combines a background in construction with training in agronomy and arboriculture.
Almost all of our projects are seaside gardens and terraces on the northern Adriatic coast: this is the experience we bring to Romagna as well. In 2017 our installation “Ciclicità lunare” won the Foglia d’Oro del Lago di Como award at Orticolario, and our projects have been featured in Gardenia, Casa in Fiore and Terrazzi e balconi.
