We design made-to-measure gardens, courtyards and terraces in the city and the surrounding province, choosing plants suited to the humidity and heat of the Po plain, and we follow every project through to construction.

The Ferrara area is pure plain, shaped by the Po: soils that are often clay and damp, foggy winters, hot and muggy summers. These conditions call for robust plants and particular attention to drainage.
That is why we start from the soil, improve it where needed and choose species that tolerate damp and heat. We give the garden shade for the summer and a structure of trees, hedges and evergreens that keeps it looking orderly in winter.

The studio
Roberto Landello is a garden designer with studios in Lignano Sabbiadoro and Monza. We take on garden and terrace projects in Ferrara and its province too, organizing the work in stages: site visit, design, our presence on site at the key moments and a long-term maintenance plan.
Our work starts with plants. Roberto grew up in his family’s nursery in Lignano Sabbiadoro and trained at the Scuola Agraria del Parco di Monza; Luca, our technical lead, combines a background in construction with training in agronomy and arboriculture.
We have always worked with difficult soils, from the sand of the coast to the gravel of the Friulian plain: Ferrara’s clay is another challenge we know how to meet. In 2017 our installation “Ciclicità lunare” won the Foglia d’Oro del Lago di Como award at Orticolario, and our projects have been featured in Gardenia, Casa in Fiore and Terrazzi e balconi.
